Rev. Dr. Lloyd Doyle joked tonight that the Nurture Committee from church had great foresight when picking the date of our summer picnic three months ago; they knew, he said, that we would have perfect weather today.
Well, whether the Nurture Committee could take credit or not, today was a sensational day for a picnic — more like spring than July. The flies at Never Rest Park were a nuisance, but everything else was spectacular.
