My four-year-old computer has been acting strangely lately. I really don’t need to finance a new computer right now. I put additional memory in this one a few months back, and it normally does a good job.

What I want to do is the dreaded Reinstall — to completely re-install Windows on the machine. But now, I can’t find my original Windows disk. I know that at one time I had it in my lockbox, but it’s not there now, and I’m rooting through various drawers, shelves and boxes in a vain attempt to find it.
