As I get ready for work this morning, I am watching Carl Reiner’s appearance on last night’s “Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien.”

This appearance was sort of a milestone, because Reiner has been a guest on the “Tonight Show” with Steve Allen, Jack Paar, Johnny Carson, squeaky chin guy and now Conan. They implied, but did not state outright, that he’s the first person to reach that milestone.
