Fake picadillo

If you are not familiar with the original dish, and the combination of flavors sounds odd to you, try it anyway. You can thank me later. As is often the case, I’m not 100 percent sure of some of my quantities.

1 lb. ground beef
1 envelope taco seasoning
water
1/2 cup whole stuffed green olives (or 1/4 cup if chopped)
1/4 cup raisins
1 T. cinnamon

Brown ground beef; drain. Add taco seasoning and slightly more water than called for on taco seasoning directions. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, simmer 10-15 minutes for flavors to blend and raisins to soften.

Serve over tortilla chips topped with shredded cheese.
