I’ll be lay speaking this morning at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist, filling in for my T-G co-worker Rev. Doug Dezotell, who has taken a mission team to Arizona.
Mt. Lebanon’s service is from 9:30 until 10:30. Then, I will race back to Shelbyville, where, at my home church, First United Methodist, my Sunday School class is doing a fried chicken dinner to raise money for the Kenya trip. If the proceeds are even half as much as the last such luncheon, this will put me over the top as far as what I need to turn in to LEAMIS, and give me a little bit extra for travel expenses.
