Roast update

We have had a request for an update on the roast. It turned out very well, I think, although I was hungry and impatient and did not let it rest long enough after cooking, so it lost a lot of juice when I first cut into it.

I was worried because I had decided to cook it in my slow-cooker rather than in the oven and I wasn’t completely certain about cooking times. But the doneness was about right, and the roast was flavorful and relatively tender. It’s definitely a recipe I would try again.

glad to hear that. I, too, love a RARE roast but prefer the pot roast prices. Since I dno't have the recipe (unless you want to share), I'll have to try and fake it one day!
