After my extended holiday break last week — which was wonderful — I plunged back into work this week. It’s busy — we’re working on several special sections and projects, and trying to make preparations for a major new computer system. Plus, several other things have dropped this week, from LEAMIS board responsibilities to writing my ask letter for the Kenya trip to fretting about how best to promote the novel.

It’s nothing I can’t handle; it’s just that the timing of it has left me a little overwhelmed.
