‘If you don’t vote, you’re a moron’

Frequently, I will stay up late enough to see Craig Ferguson’s monologue, but I’ve had to get up early several days this week, and so I missed the following. Luckily, Bad Bad Ivy (at whose home I have played Wii bowling) posted it at Love Shak, Baby.

It’s passionate, angry and non-partisan, and everyone should see it. Obviously, Craig — who became a U.S. citizen earlier this year — has a keen grasp of his duty to his new homeland, and of the way that so many of us overlook it. The video is in two parts; the second is after the jump.

Additional hat tip to Aaron at TV Barn.

  • This was definitely worth watching. I've been lazy about not voting in the past...but this made me put my thinking cap on. He's right...this election is not about the most tv-worthy candidate...it's about making our own choices as to who will be the next leader of our country.
And thank you for taking the time to send the transcript. I haven't ever heard his voice before, and he has a heavy accent that my electronics don't pick up well...it was a huge help! :)
