Can you hear me now?

If you should ever need to check out this blog with your mobile phone, you will find that it now has a simple, list-based mobile interface. This was done through an (ad-supported) third-party vendor, Mofuse.

Anyone going to http://lakeneuron.com from the browser of a mobile phone should be automatically be redirected to http://lakeneuron.mofuse.mobi . If you go to that address from your desktop, you’ll be given the option of typing in your mobile number and getting a message sent to you containing that link (to save you having to type it in with your thumbs) so that you can bookmark it.

I’m hoping that perhaps a future version of WordPress will have something like this built in, so that I don’t have to use the ad-based service.

UPDATE: I stand corrected. I discovered that the ads can be turned off, and I’ve done that. Or, if you choose to leave the ads on, you can give them your Google AdSense ID and they will split the revenue with you.

I'll need to go see what you mean by list-based interface. My old WP blog showed the left column first (all the links) then the main content. When I looked at my new one on my hubby's Blackberry, I was happy to see it showed content first bec. of the way the columns are laid out. I suspect you mean something different, though?
