There is an episode of the British Sci-Fi sitcom “Red Dwarf” where, in the future, bubble wrap (or, as they say in Great Britian, “Packing Paper”) is no longer used for packing at all, but sold in 1-foot squares, painted red, and called “tension sheets”. Bubble wrap as therapy! It’s the next inevitable phase.
