Sickness update

I am feeling better, although my voice is still shot and I’m a little tired and light-headed, which may be as much from the cough syrup and from laying around for a day and a half as from the bronchitis. I was going to skip the cough syrup first thing this morning, but I’ve still got a cough.

I left the apartment for the first time this morning, to go to the bank and the pharmacy/grocery store.

I’m hoping that I’ll be well enough by Sunday to cover the opening of a cornerstone from one of our community’s historically-black schools. The school building had deteriorated and had to be torn down last year, and they’re going to open the cornerstone Sunday afternoon in conjunction with Black History Month. No one knows what, if anything, is inside.
