The word from sickbay
Well, I feel better today — but I’m tired, and I’m still coughing. I went in to work this morning, but I knew I would have to cover the annual Chamber of Commerce banquet tonight, so I left shortly after noon (which, since I come in at 6 a.m., is a six-hour work day) to go home and relax.
First, though, I had to go to Wal-Mart. When I was at the layspeaking banquet a week or two ago, I lost a button on my suit jacket. I couldn’t find a match for the remaining button, so I had to take it off and put on two new ones. (Just as well, since they come two to a set and I’d have had to buy two anyway.)
