Jim Carrey has already ruined one holiday classic; now, apparently, he’s ruining another, playing not only Scrooge but all three ghosts of Christmas. Puh-leeze.

    I agree with you about the Grinch, and I’m certainly not the biggest Jim Carrey fan ever, but “A Christmas Carol” has been made over and over and over and over . . . I don’t think he’ll ruin anything any more than Urkel did in a very special “Family Matters”. And since it’s Zemeckis, I’m assuming it will be Motion Capture like Beowulf and Polar Express, which could be interesting.
