Knock, knock
My five-year-old nephew in California just called to tell me a “knock, knock” joke.
There was method to his madness; the subscription of “National Geographic Kids” which I bought for his birthday last month has, at long last, started, and the joke came from the magazine.
He likes the magazine; I knew he would. He actually enjoys his father’s “Popular Science,” even though he’s not quite old enough to read it. He’s naturally curious, and I thought the magazine was something he would enjoy, even though it’s technically aimed at a slightly older age group.
