Frozen treat

Well, on my way home from preaching this morning I stopped by to see my brother and sister-in-law’s new property, and then I stopped at Food Lion in Shelbyville to get some groceries. While checking out, I was given one of those coupons that prints out right next to the cash register, for use on your next visit — a dollar off a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. It’s been miserably hot here, and as the afternoon wore on a pint of Ben & Jerry’s began to sound pretty darn good. So I went back to Food Lion. The ice cream was on sale. The original price was $3.79, the sale with my Food Lion VIP card took off $1.29, and then my coupon took off another dollar. So I paid $1.50 for my Banana Split ice cream, which is dee-licious….
