Remembering Keith Green

Here’s a terrific Associated Press story about Keith Green; it scarcely seems possible that he’s been dead for 25 years now.

Apparently, his widow Melody is going to release some never-before-heard tracks which can now be cleaned up with new technology.

“Your Love Broke Through,” which Keith co-wrote with Randy Stonehill, is one of my favorite Christian songs.

I LOVED Keith Green. I used to get his “Last Days Newsletters” when I was in high school.

    Great memories.

I, too, loved Keith Green and his musical legacy. His music was fairly radical at that time, but it has endured. There are a great many of his songs that I consider favorites, but the first one that always comes to mind is, “Make My Life a Prayer to You.”

His music, and the life that ended much too soon, brings to mind another of my favorite Christian artists, Rich Mullins.

Keith Green’s music will live on he was one who in his time seemed radical he was, radical for Jesus, one of my favorites was when he put the 23rd psalm to music but all of his music was sincere fervernt and always pointed to Jesus. I felt like I lost a close friend when he died.
