Fun! So here goes…it’s a simple one, thankfully….I just need to quickly write 8 random facts/habits about myself, then tag 8 people. If I tag you, you had better play
1) I have never stopped in New York City, but I drove through it on the Cross-Bronx Expressway on my way to a wedding in Boston. Having read “The Bonfire of the Vanities,” in which the main character’s downfall begins when he takes a wrong exit from the Cross-Bronx Expressway and winds up involved in a hit and run, I was extremely careful not to get off track.
2) I was in charge of the on-campus movies for 2 1/2 years in college. This may well have been the high point of my life.
3) I got my FCC radio license before my driver’s license and worked at the local AM radio station starting when I was 15.
4) I have three nieces and four nephews, and dote on all of them.
5) I have lost about 25 pounds since the first of the year.
6) I graduated from college with aspirations of being a screenwriter.
7) I once interviewed Wendy’s founder Dave Thomas by telephone, and have an autographed copy of his autobiography, “Dave’s Way.”
8 ) I loathe beets.
