Friday

It’s been a long week, but it’s Friday, and I was able to get away from the office a little early, and I will see Paul and Grace Mbithi tonight, and tomorrow is the first Saturday in 11 weeks (I just checked on my PDA) when I’ve had no scheduled responsibilities — no time at the office, no event to cover for the paper, no Bicentennial fair, no mission trip training, no Mountain T.O.P. board meeting.

What a great feeling.

Of course, I’ll probably have to spend much of the day cleaning up the apartment, which looks as if burglars and wild animals have been here.
