AeroSur update

My comments that we would be flying AeroSur most of the way were based on an old itinerary, not the one which was actually booked. It now turns out we will fly American Airlines to Bolivia and then (I’m assuming) we will fly AeroSur for the last leg into Cochabamba. The AeroSur flights don’t show up on my AA itinerary, so that’s just an assumption.

The nice part about this is that I will pick up some frequent flyer miles.

  • Never heard of AeroSur - do they have those planes where you can hear the engine slow when you turn on the reading light???

    Good luck, John;)

Don't read... I'm with Art Ruch. I took a little flight on a Korean Air (one would think a jet...hmmm) from Korea to Japan once. When I climbed up a ladder to get in, I was laughing. When one of the two engines didn't start until the fourth try, I still sat their wondering why I wasn't moving (exiting). I remember looking at the engine the entire flight. - you'll be fine.... (Army-Navy surplus parachutes are cheap...)

Just returned from Bolivia and took several internal flights with Aerosur (La Paz-Santa Cruz-Cochimamba-Sucre ) no problems. New well looked after modern planes proper air stewards fantastic service and very reasonable. Fly with confidence- just remember to pay airport tax at desk before trying to board.
