Alton Brown has won a Peabody Award!

Anyone who reads this blog knows that I’m a huge fan of Alton and his show, “Good Eats.”

UPDATE: Here’s a sentence from the official Peabody Awards press release:

Awards went to “Good Eats,” a deliriously inventive series for Food Network in which Alton Brown educates viewers about food, science, history and culture.

    Props also go to the show “Friday Night Lights” which also won a Peabody. I watch very little TV, but FNL is a terrific show. Football is to Texas towns what girls’ basketball is to Shelbyville. There are lot of similarities between Shelbyville and the Dillon, Texas in the show.
