Sister Aimee

Tonight’s PBS “American Experience” documentary about Aimee Semple McPherson was fascinating and honest — and not nearly as condescending as I had feared. I came into it with very little knowledge and I’m anxious to read reviews by those who have their own independent knowledge of the subject.

It was opposite ‘Silent Witness’ on BBC America, so I’m Tivo’ng the later show at 1:00am tomorrow.

I’m looking forward to their take on the whole thing.

I caught part of it. It was pretty interesting and informative to me too.
