Well, you’ve probably noticed a new look. I’d been toying with the idea of jumping to a new theme for a couple of reasons, one of them being that I could use a relatively-new feature of WordPress called widgets. Widgets automate the process of adding things to the sidebar (or, in this case, sidebars), so you can drag and drop instead of have to muck around with code.
I probably need to move in the other direction — learning more CSS and PHP and what have you. And I may yet do that. But right now, I’m having fun playing with widgets that someone else has coded for me.
