My long-lost cousin Mat
The announced guests at our “Late Late Show” taping next week, according to the show’s web site, are actor Eddie Griffin (currently appearing in Eddie Murphy’s “Norbit”) and singer Mat Kearney.
I’m at least hoping now that Dave Foley or Tim Meadows, both of whom are occasional contributors to the show, will be there for a comedy bit.
Kearney and Carney are variants of the same surname, so maybe my brother and I can convince him he’s a long-lost relative.
