I was sure that Saturday Night Live would have a “Super Fans” skit tonight, what with Da Bearssss in the big game tomorrow. But no such luck. There was a cameo by a former cast member, but it was Horatio Sanz as Elton John in a Versace skit. Actually, when Donatella Versace (Maya Rudolph) made reference to “da Bearsss” I sort of figured that they weren’t going to do the skit. They’d have wanted it to be a surprise (even though it wouldn’t have been) and wouldn’t have wanted to foreshadow it during some other skit.
