Gail Drake was happy to see us today but didn’t seem to need our business — she was holding a “spa day,” with a makeup consultant, a manicurist and a masseuse on site. Nevertheless, we were happy to shop. Here, Curtis is ordering hot cocoa for all of us. I bought some white chili mix which I plan to make tomorrow — I’ll let you know how it turns out.

While I was talking with Gail, she gave me a few more details about the Bolivia trip — enough that I’ll probably go ahead and send out a partner letter this week. We will be going in the last two weeks of July and we will be, Gail thinks, in the high-altitude portion of Bolivia as opposed to the part in the Amazon basin. (Good thing I’ve started working out.)
