I had posted a few days ago about the fact that a group from the newspaper will eat next week at Miss Mary Bobo’s in Lynchburg, the very week when the restaurant moves back into its home after a year of remodeling.
For me, eating at Miss Mary Bobo’s is usually something I do once a year, or once every couple of years.
But today, I got this key in the mail. It’s about 5, 5 1/2 inches long and is pewter or a sort of pewter finish. It is accompanied by an invitation to the official grand re-opening of the restaurant, which will take place later this month. So I’ll get to eat at the restaurant twice in the space of two weeks — and the second meal, the grand opening, will be on the house!
I may have to have nothing but Slim-Fast the rest of the month. ![]()
