		<description>Insight Cable started us out with the $30/month pricing for &quot;at least a year,&quot; but then after our year was up, they sent us a letter saying they were extending it for at least another year. :)

As much gaming as we do, we really benefit from having cable.  Hopefully your area will get more competitive pricing soon. :)</description>

You can buy DSL service from any company that leases the local phone lines. Here it&#039;s old SBC lines.  The service was soooo slow and glitchy.  I am quite happy with Time Warner&#039;s RoadRunner cable modem service, even though it goes out occasionally.  If you do a lot of work online like building websites, uploading files, downloading large image files, music, movies, then cable is the only way to go!</description>
