In defense of missions

I ran across a great little blog post stating that criticisms of mission efforts don’t mean that we should throw the baby out with the bathwater:

I don’t agree with the “Western style” on a variety of takes. But with a world perspective, I don’t think I’ve seen much better. And I believe back-seat criticism (wearing a t-shirt with blatant hypocrisy) is detrimental and hurtful, and it shows incredible immaturity.

I just ran across this blog today, when its other poster commented on one of my posts here. I’m going to have to look around a bit and see if I can get an explanation for why it’s called “Money Missions,” which I find kind of a strange name.
