I finally decided the other day that the reason why is that I was a teenager when it came out, and at the exact wrong age to be watching Christmas movies. But now that I haven't seen it, it's become sort of a thing NOT to see it, you know? Just like, I grew up an hour from Memphis and I've never been to Graceland. So now, I can never go. Sigh….every year at this time it becomes more of a handicap: I’m the only person left on earth who hasn’t seen A Christmas Story.
