Rehearsal

Our director, who is doing yeoman’s work trying to memorize the part of Alfred while taking care of last-minute production details, has decided not to have rehearsal Wednesday night. That means our next rehearsal will be dress rehearsal on Thursday. Which is scary, given the way things went last night and tonight. But I have faith it will all come together.

In any case, I got all my lines and blocking tonight, although I hesitated on a couple of them and, at one point, whispered the wrong prompt to someone who had missed one of their lines.

Hopefully my brother — a stage veteran himself — was right in his comment to one of my previous posts, saying that trouble during hell week is good news for the actual performances.

Just catching up on the last few entries….I’m sure your play will go splendidly! :) Things always seem to fall into place at the last minute.

Any more DSL news? We’re pretty happy with the tech service at Insight Cable. Of course, nothing could be worse that Verizon was.

I like the new template! :)
