G.K and George Bernard have a beer together

The excellent blog Get Religion, which normally critiques coverage of religion in the secular press, has an outstanding post by Douglas LeBlanc which mentions a story in Wired magazine but goes beyond critiquing the article into commenting on its subject matter. The story is about some increasingly outspoken supporters of atheism and whether atheists may become more assertive in promoting their interpretation of existence.

LeBlanc laments the loss of the kind of dialogue that G.K. Chesterton and George Bernard Shaw were able to have despite their divergent views on that topic.
