Writer’s block

I can’t seem to come up with any good topics to share with you.

It’s been a good day; my parents and I rode up to Goodlettsville, north of Nashville, to watch my nearly-7-year-old nephew play pee wee football (or whatever that age group is called). They lost, but T.J. played a good game.

The clouds were looking nasty as we drove into the Goodlettsville city park, so we carried umbrellas with us to the football field — naturally, the sun came out and it was warm and sunny the whole time.

Here in Shelbyville, five hours later, it’s looking nasty, though.

I’m looking forward to the play tryouts tomorrow; I’m sure I’ll see some of the regulars who are in most of the Tullahoma productions. I don’t know the play well enough to request a particular character; I’ll just read for whatever they want me to read for.
