    I began watercolor pencil and collage use after I started journaling with my work for relief from depression and later for my Companions in Christ group.

    I took a course in watercolors and happened to borrow some of my instructor’s watercolor pencils. I was hooked on them immediately. I take a small kit with me wherever I go and all I need is a glass of water, sometimes a permanent marker and some glue for the collage pieces.

    It’s theraputic for my brain and wonderful for my soul too.
