Don’t spoil me

It was 8:20 and I was sitting here listening (for the second time) to an audio tape by Paul Borthwick which was assigned as part of the preparation for our Kenya trip. Borthwick is a tremendous authority on short-term missions, both challenging and inspiring. Like the leaders of LEAMIS, he has a keen view of what’s being done wrong but also a fervent belief that there is a place, even a Biblical mandate, for short term missions.

Anyway, I suddenly realized I was missing the season finale of “Doctor Who.” Rather than try to jump into it midway through, I decided to tape the 11 p.m. repeat and watch it tomorrow. So if you e-mail me or leave any comments here, please don’t give anything away.
