Turnabout being fair play

Anglican priest Maggi Dawn passes along the top ten reasons men should not be ordained. Pretty clever.

Excluding my father, whom you can understand is a special case, I think one of the favorite pastors I’ve had over the years has been the Rev. Diana Hough. In her first sermon to us at Wartrace UMC (which I was attending at the time, and which was her first pastorate), she told us that she had once been dead-set against women in the pulpit. She even recalled a particularly memorable argument she’d had with a male pastor about the topic. But then, like Peter on the rooftop looking at the sheet full of unclean animals, God got her attention and gave her marching orders she didn’t expect.

Hat tip to Jadon.
