Thanks to several of you who have encouraged me in my idea for a second, specialized blog which would deal with the issues of how we as Christians balance passion for our own beliefs against tolerance of other beliefs without falling prey to universalism, which I believe to be in error.
Even people who don’t agree with me about universalism encouraged me to open a dialogue, and that’s certainly what I hope this new blog will be: a dialogue.
I am going to move ahead with this project, although it may take me several days to get it set up. For one thing, I have to think of a name! I’m not going to buy a new domain name at the moment, so the blog’s address will be something.lakeneuron.com. I have to think of a memorable and appropriate name for the blog which can be used as (or condensed into) a name for the subdomain.
I’m not the only one looking for a blog name; according to Brittney at Nashville Is Talking, WKRN’s new religion-beat reporter is going to have a blog, and so Nashville Is Talking is conducting a blog-naming contest, with a $50 grand prize. I don’t have a cash prize to offer, but I, too, welcome suggestions.
