I was in another of my moods this evening — frustrated about several different things — and I needed something to take my mind off it.
I’ve been using the web browser and e-mail program Opera for the past few months. I was sort of happy with it, but there were also certain things about the Firefox browser that I missed. Going from the Opera browser back to Firefox was little or no problem — I’ve had both installed all along. But if I was not going to be using Opera as my primary browser, that meant I couldn’t use it as my e-mail program or RSS reader. So I had to re-download Thunderbird and then go through the very arduous and time-consuming process of moving a bunch of saved e-mail messages, e-mail accounts and RSS feeds from Opera to Thunderbird.
This was probably a good thing; it’s kept me from moping.
