Dumpling disaster
Because of this oncoming cold, I decided not to go to the Mountain T.O.P. gathering tonight in Nashville. On the way home from work, I picked up some ingredients for chicken and dumplings. But I added too much milk to the Bisquick and instead of forming dumplings, it dissolved into the broth, forming a sort of lumpy soup with little pea-sized pockets of Bisquick.
Even so, it tasted good and was very comforting, which I guess is the idea. And I’ve got plenty left over for the weekend.
