Some Christmas cheer
I just got this e-mail from Guy McDonald, my roommate on the most recent Kenya trip:
Hey Folks,
Just got an update last night on our little 12 year old buddy Emile
Greer. The doctors were able to remove the entire tumor from his brain.They got it all!! It was touch and go for awhile and they had to go in
two times to complete the surgery. He is home for Christmas with his family and the family will start his next battle with the cancer after Christmas. They will sit down with the doctors and come up with a game plan which will start with chemotherapy, they believe. To have gotten this far is a miracle! Please keep Emile and his family in your prayers.Since I sent the first prayer request email about Emile and his family I thought you all would want to know, it has taken on a life of its own. There are people in over 20 states now praying for him. God is AWESOME!!
