Jay Voorhees has an interesting thread going this week about the Wesleyan view, versus the Calvinist view, of human depravity. I don’t know Jay, a United Methodist pastor living about an hour’s drive north of me, but I have to say I wish he’d run this series last week, because it really would have tied in nicely with my Sunday School lesson last weekend. That’s not to say I would have gotten into anywhere near as much detail with my Sunday School class, but it would have better informed my own preparation.

By the way, the day I picked to tell you about the series is the one day he picked to take a break; today’s post is about joining a gym.
