Creeping along

National Novel Writing Month Participant 2005This is frustrating. Again, I made a little progress tonight but not enough. And I got to thinking about this weekend and realized I’ll be pretty busy — work Saturday afternoon and then a cookout with some friends in Williamson County on Saturday night. Then, Sunday afternoon I’ll go with my parents to La Vergne to celebrate my nephew T.J.’s birthday.

Even so, I came from behind last year and I can do it again this year.

Amusingly, most of tonight’s material came directly from life. I had some frustrations at a local store, came straight home and then gave one of my characters the exact same experience. I didn’t even have to embellish that much.
