I like putting my photos on Flickr because I can easily post them to the blog without keeping track of them them on my own site.
When I got home and looked back at my self-serving blog post from earlier in the day, the color looked funny. I think it may have been in a different color mode which is used in the printing industry rather than the traditional format most of us use at home.
I corrected that, but then I discovered that there’s not really a good way to replace a photo once you’ve uploaded it to Flickr. Instead, I had to upload the new version and separately delete the old version. That meant that the Flickr link to the photo in my previous blog post didn’t work any more, since it called the static page where the old, uncorrected version of the photo used to be. Eventually, I made a dummy blog post with the new version and then cut and pasted the Flickr code from the dummy post into the real blog post, overwriting the old code.
Anyway, if you received several different versions of that post on your RSS reader, I apologize.
By the way, thanks to Nashville Is Talking for linking to the post!
