This is the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration grounds. The outdoor arena at right is used, for the most part, only during the actual Celebration, a 10-night show which ends on the Saturday before Labor Day. However, there are year-round shows, featuring a variety of equine breeds, in the indoor Calsonic Arena at left. Note the numerous barns and stalls at the bottom of the photo.

Non-equine events are also held in the arena, such as the annual Nashville Symphony concert with which I’m involved.
