It’s me again, Margaret

I’m back from Mississippi’s Gulf Coast, none the worse for wear. The new header image (hit refresh if you don’t see it) is me standing in front of the Gulf of Mexico at McElroy’s Seafood House in Biloxi. Yes, it’s a gulf, and not a lake, but I thought it was a fine stand-in for the mythical Lake Neuron.

We made a lot of soap, and I learned a lot. Dave and Carolyn were wonderful hosts. I’ll try to post some photos and more information later tonight or tomorrow. It was a long drive back, and I’m kind of pooped.

It sure looks like it’s doing a good job of standing in for a lake. Calm and wave-free. With all this practice, you’re becoming a soap making-maven. I saw a beer can chicken holder thingie and almost bought it! I was bound and determined only to buy one item at the store, though, so it will be the next thing I run in there for.
