I went to revival services at my father’s church tonight. The guest speaker, the Rev. Mark Hall, did a fantastic job, and I’m always happy to hear the southern gospel group The Blessed. I was the one who first suggested, four years ago, that Dad book The Blessed for revival; the group is based out of Monteagle and frequently appears at Mountain T.O.P. adult ministry events, which is where I saw them.

They did a great job tonight — but I was disappointed because their drummer, who I know from both Mountain T.O.P. and LEAMIS events, wasn’t with them.

Then, I got home tonight and got the e-mail saying that Pastor Paul Mbithi has had to change his itinerary again, and I won’t get to see him while he’s in the U.S.

I also don’t know where in the world Carmen Sandiego is.
