Symphony page

I guess this is one of my chattier nights.

The symphony page has been fixed, somewhat, and it turns out that Dreamweaver had been letting me down a little bit. A couple of floating CSS boxes didn’t display correctly in the wysi(supposedly)wyg mode of my version of Dreamweaver. When I tried “preview in browser,” on the other hand, they worked fine.

    Yep…DW isn’t really very well-behaved around CSS. FF also has some issues with regards to placement of things (I had to tweak a little bit there, too). You can have DW set up two different browsers when you hit “preview in browser” but I don’t remember off-hand how it’s done.

    If you learn PHP, you’ll learn never to trust the wysiwyg again . . . or preview in browser, for that matter, since you’ll need to view pages in a testing server.
