A week ago, I posted about a new animated version of “The Batman” on Kid’s WB. I just got through watching another episode. In the meantime, I’ve found out a couple of things:

• The show actually started last fall; it’s now in reruns. I just missed it the first time around.
• The Edge, from U2, wrote the theme music (which is terrific)

There was a subplot to today’s episode which I thought would wind up compromising the character of Batman as we have come to know him from other works. But, to my relief, they didn’t follow through on it. I remain impressed by this version.
