Dude … I’m gettin’ a Dell
It’s been a strange day or two. Some of it was work-related, and so I will abide by my no-blogging-about-work rule and skip to my computer situation.
As previously mentioned, the eMachine on which I write these words has a terminal disease. I fretted about what to do — probably don’t need to add too much to what I already owe — but I decided that in the long run, it would be better to get a new ‘puter than just replace the motherboard on this two-year-old machine. Two years is a lifetime in ‘puters.
Long story short, I ordered a Dell today.
Anyway, it may be a week or two before I have consistent, reliable access at home, so if my posting is spotty between now and then it’s not because I don’t love you, Gentle Readers.
