Well, I’ve got the blog pretty much up and running. I still have a few little tweaks to make, but the basic mechanics seem to be in place.

For those of you who were familiar with my previous blog, “Kenya Minus 365,” I’ll have that same material here, but I’ll also be a little more likely to veer into other topics.
The rest of the web site is still pretty much under construction but should be coming along in the next week or so. My father sometimes builds ship models, and he used to be most likely to work on one when he was really busy and stressed out. As intricate and challenging as the work was, it relaxed him. I think that’s one reason I’ve been redoing this blog; this has been a very busy and stressful month, and I think working on it relaxes me (occasionally, of course, it infuriates me, as computers are wont to do).
